This lovely and unusual little piece of crochet work was made by Edward's great-grandmother. It was a Christmas gift to us from Donald, Debbie and Edward around '95 or '96. It was not something I wanted to put away in a drawer and forget about or never use, so I had it matted and framed. I looked back at your little silk treasures - so unusual and pretty.
I'm wondering if they were cut at some time from Kesitas silks? Connie.
Connie, The only information I ever had on the silk embroidered flowers were that they came from German cigarette packages sometime back in the 1930's. Thanks for looking.
