Vintage Lace Pillow

I put these patchwork, vintage lace pillows together about 15 years ago or so -- Today, I would probably be using the lace in altered art projects !! I really don't recall exactly where the bag of lace came from, either a garage sale or antique mall. I had no idea at the time what I would ever do with it, I just thought the pieces were so beautiful !! Somewhere, I saw a new pillow made in this fashion and so three pillows were born, one for me, one for you and one for my friend Willa. This pillow is home on the daybed in my "multi-purpose" room, along with other treasured pillows and of course, some teddy bears !!

Drawers of Lace

These drawers in this little rattan table are packed full of lace and crocheted pieces. Some new, some vintage, some really pretty, some just so-so. If I live to be a hundred, I would never be able to use the entire collection !! BUT, there is always just the right piece to go onto whatever I might be creating !!
