Hilery and I made our seasonal trip to the Bellagio a couple of weeks ago and as always, the Conservatory was another beautiful display of flowers for the season, plus other attractions. The daffodils in the spring are always my most favorite of all the flowers. Hilery, always photogenic, struck this pose along the sidewalk lined with California poppies. Another lovely day of Gramma/Grand-daughter bonding !!!

Autumn at Bellagio Conservatory
These are only a smidgeon of the photos I took yesterday as Hilery and I viewed the autumn spectacular scenery at the Bellagio Conservatory. Because the plantings and themes are changed five times a year, it gives us an excuse to be "tourists" !! Photos would not begin to capture the beauty of the gorgeous mums in every color imaginable. There were 800 pound pumpkins, gourds in every shape and color, giant Venus fly traps, unusual tree fountains, and we loved the "talking" tree.

Summertime at Bellagio Conservatory

Bellagio Conservatory
Hilery and I made a trip to Bellagio yesterday to see their new springtime display in the Conservatory. Of course, it was beautiful, as always !! There was every kind of springtime bloom that you could think of. A "greenhouse" is enclosed to house live butterflies. The ladybug was created with red carnations. A person can walk through this botanical garden, but, never see everything there is to see. The horticulturists that create this display pay attention to every detail.
