A Sweet Bear

There is always room for one more bear at my house !! This cute little guy was handmade for me for Christmas by my sweet grand-daughter. His little face has so much personality -- he looks as if he wants to tell me some Christmas secrets !! She also made the necklace with the glass slide pendant featuring Santa Claus checking his list. I think my name was on the "good" list as I opened some lovely gifts on Christmas Eve. When I was growing up, Santa never failed to visit our house, even when I was a teenager. Mom and Dad never gave up the tradition. There is that special memory which comes to mind every year at this time.

Wiley's and Bears

Your Dad's collection of Wiley Coyotes are all sitting in this old piece of luggage along with some of my bears in a corner in my bedroom. Whenever your Dad traveled in his truck, some of the Wiley's always went with him. I think he especially liked the one that has the suction cups on his paws and could be stuck to the back window. The old suitcase is circa 1930's, I think. Willa was going to throw it out and of course, I couldn't let that happen !! It has made a perfect home for all these stuffed animals !!
